Blue navigation indication disappears in Android Auto

Hi, when using Android Auto the blue navigation indication disappears while navigating as soon as I for example switch to phone in AA to call someone. Or if I switch to an app on my phone (for example Flitsmeister) the same thing happens. The map is Frozen and the red arrow will be out of the frame during my route because the map is not moving anymore or ABRP will then no longer work on AA (black screen and I can choose to wait or close ABRP). I then have to either disconnect the cable or close the ABRP app on my phone to get it working again, which is not useful while driving. This happens every car ride. It only works properly when I don't do anything, so don't switch radio stations or switch to Spotify either. If I use Google Maps or Waze on AA and do the same things I have no problems. I have also deleted all my storage and cache of the app and deleted it and reinstalled it. This does not solve the issue.

Car: Peugeot e-2008 (brand new).
Phone: Samsung Galaxy S22+ SM-S906B/DS.
Android Version: 12.
Android Auto Version: 7.5.621364-Release.
ABRP Version: 4.2.5 (Premium user and beta user via Google Playstore).
Connection through Tronity.

Hi Kevin,

We just released a new version 4.2.6 which is a beta release. It did not directly fix your issue, but one that behaved a bit similar, so maybe if we are lucky that one helps out for you too.

If you are already on the beta channel you can just update, if not in Playstore scroll down below comments section of the ABRP page and then you can join the beta. Wait a few minutes and you should be in and able to install the beta.

Let me know your observations.

I want to give you as much information as I can. This evening I have tried it with an Samsung Galaxy S10e in my car. I have exactly the same issue with this other phone. I have emailed you the bugreport from this phone.

Actually there is a thing you can do that would help even more than a video. This seems to be related to a crash on mapbox we saw earlier already but could not identify the root cause as we can not reproduce it locally. You can send us a bug report as described here:
developer.android.com/studio/debug/bug-report

So if you can reproduce this fairly easy please try to reproduce it until the error shows up. Then after that create the bugreport, upload it to google drive or wherever and share it to samuel@iternio.com

That bug report should contain logs we can pass to mapbox to help us identify the cause of the issue.

can you maybe make a video (with a second phone if possible), it is a bit hard to understand what happens here.

With blue navigation indication you mean the route?

Hi, can you please check the battery save options for ABRP (in OS app settings for ABRP)? Does this also happen when you set unrestricted so there are no optimizations?

I have since 2 weeks a new car and for the first time electric. So I am using since 2 weeks ABRP and from the start I have this problem.
