I have recently purchased the premium version so that I could use ABPR as part of my Apple CarPlay (Wired) - However the icon does not always come up on the carplay display to select ABPR instead of another mapping option

It’s not displayed in the CarPlay menu at all, i have to turn my phone off and back on for it to appear in CarPlay and then I can select it.. next time I plug into CarPlay it’s gone again

Do you mean it doesn't show in the sidebar or is it not at all displayed in the CarPlay menu?

I guess this issue is the same as the thread regarding Dashboard - since that also will open for the app to be shown in recent apps in the leftmenu of the screen.
