So there is a bug, where the intial Soc I put into the app changes to a much smaller value when the app opens in Android auto

Hi Mike,
I can't see that you've had any vehicle linked for live data on your account. As we unfortunately do not have the ability to read SoC from the car via Android Auto, you'll need to link it via a different option. You may check all supported vehicle models and live data options here: abetterrouteplanner.com/compare/livedata

The set SoC can be edited in the Android app.
