Android Auto: no map centering in free drive after routing in certain map mode

Hi, when doing free driving after a routing session in map mode "destination" org "next waypoint" Android Auto map is no longer centering to current location but stays centered to first position. Furthermore in free driving there is no way to change map display mode, so I'm stuck in that state until next routing session.
I'd suggest free driving to always use auto-center sliding map no matter what is choosen to use while doing routing.
Fixing that would be great! Thank you for your great work making ABRP such a unique experience for us EV drivers.

Hi Bo,
while I appreciate to hear that there is work going on at the GPS backend I want to stress that I do not think that this particular issue is about positioning.
To reproduce, please do a routing session with android auto. Live Data through OBD BLE dongle is connected too (BMW i3). While in active routing, please set AA map display mode to what I call "Show Complete Route" (Checkered Flag Icon). Now either when reaching routing destination or when stopping routing using red 'X' icon in AA, map changes zoom to what it probably uses on car centered map mode and centers once to current location. Then map will stay at that location, even if I'm still moving. I can even see my location marker move out of the displayed map while map stays on old position.
Behaviour is reproducable 100%.
So I'd suggest this is not a GPS based issue but more a rendering issue of AA map.
Or do you use different locations for map centering (e.g. phone GPS) vs. vehicle location marker (e.g. vehicle OBD dongle location)? Then this might very well be GPS located and in some situations I did get the impression that you might use two different location services for different tasks. Yet I do not get the point in why you would be doing it that way.

The next version of ABRP uses a new GPS interface which should improve on this. Look out for ABRP 4.4.7.

If the app isn't centering on location in free drive mode we most likely have a bug. We'll be looking into it!
