Alternatives selected to be sufficiently different from the original route, and sometimes they make less sense from a time perspective. We do disqualify an alternative if it takes *too* much extra time, but we allow some detours.

Detours are fine but proposing a detour which takes like 53 minutes more then my one minute driving time home makes no sense at all in my opinion
