Allow tapping on chargers along the route, not route points

If I want to see details of a charger that is close to the planned route, it's incredibly hard to tap it. All taps close to route's line create a point on the line, instead of showing chargers.
Please give priority to tapping chargers, not middle-of-nowhere points on a line.

Hi K,
We've since made it easier to click a charger. Now we'll instead expand the information about it in the list of waypoints when clicked on the map. For information about the location, one may click the charger icon in the list of waypoints.

this is infuriating. I can't tap on the charger! Why would I want to make a waypoint right behind the charger rather than see chargers information!
