ABRP shrinks the map vertically, changing the aspect ratio when connected to car play.

When connected to car play the map is now not full screen but has a band top and bottom, this changes the aspect ratio. This seems to be abpr specific, as Google maps and other apps do not do this. And also the controls still appear in this area, but the map is now basically unusable. Pics or abpr with the issue and Google maps without.

We've made some changes in version 4.6.3 that just got approved for release in the App Store. Could you update to the latest version and check how it performs?

No change I’m afraid.

We have just hotpatched 4.6.3 to build 2451 which you will receive if you kill the app and open it again (usually twice). See if that solves it for you!

No change. I even deleted and reinstalled the app.

I also just tried it on my phone in another car, and same thing.

When you reinstall the app, the hotfix will be uninstalled until you kill the app and restart it a couple of times. Did you double check that you got build 2451?

If that does not work, would you mind trying to upgrade your phone to iOS 17?

Yes 2451. And have opened and force closed the app a number of times. No change. Will upgrade to IOS17 tonight and try again tomorrow.

Running IOS 16.1.2. This is now just how ABPR is on carplay, after multiple restarts etc. My wife's phone is identical to mine, only difference is the ABPR version number.

Can you share with us what iOS version are you using? Is this behaviour happening every time or is it fixed after the app restart?

Further info. It works absolutely fine with my wife’s phone. My app is running version 4.6.2. My wife’s is 4.6.1
