Please pair in obdlink app first and then try again. If that also does not work please provide more information about the car and the phone you use.

I have no problem pairing and connecting to the dongle in ODBLink. When it’s connected to ODBLink, I can’t see the dongle in ABRP. If I disconnect in ODBLink, I can then see the dongle in ABRP, but the ODB Connection page shows green check marks for “Loading car configuration” and “BLE connection status” but a red x for “ Car connection status”.
2022 Bolt EV
ODBLink CX, firmware 5.6.22
iPhone 8Plus, iOS 15.6

Only pairing needs to be done in obdlink app, after that it is not needed anymore for ABRP.
Could you verify the dongle reads data from your car with other apps?

“Car Scanner” connects and displays data correctly without any error indication.

Ok so make sure no other app is connected, you have selected the right car and the car is turned on. Then try to connect again. If you do not get any data it asks you to send a report. Please do so and let me know the report ID so i can look it up.

Sometimes it takes one or two additional tries. So please test it again at least once.

I restarted my phone before trying to connect the second time

Thanks for the logs, it seems we do not get a response from the car here. I might have an idea on why that is happening, so let me check on that. We had some other users on a Bolt that could also not connect but we have lots of others that can connect. So it might be related to the auto search protocol command, that seems to work better on some dongles than on others. I'll try to enforce the right protocol manually. I'll let you know when that is available so you can test again.
