No we did not change anything, however we got many reports about Vepeak dongles not working very well in general, so we won't offer support on that. If it worked before just try to set it up again and in case it does not work anymore give one of those from the list a try: www.iternio.com/abrp-obd
At times the battery percentage gets out of sync even if the veepeak appears connected. Car scanner confirms the data is correct. I think ABRP needs confirm it's connected or in sync. If I restart the router or app it will sometimes resync. Sometimes there is no issue, some how the connection to the BLE needs to be resynced.

Yeah it was working previously no problem with turning off the car, unplugging and re plugging. I don't know exactly when it started to not be supported anymore...

I can now see all the relevant numbers so the device connects, but I can't seem to pass the necessary data on to ABRP. I'm using Android 10, ABRP version 4.1.16 (797). Would a beta version help, and if so how can I try it?

When using my Veepeak OBD BLE+ I can connect to the car and updates are coming in. However ABRP is not using real life SOC status of the car. See also print screen. Also visible at ? Next to car on right top of screen
I have an pixel 6 pro. I managed to connect once to my phone but then lost the connection. Have not been able to get it to connect again. I have unlinked it and started again. I have an Ioniq 5. I will send me dongle back to abandon and try another one
Recent trip connected to obd (veepeak) registered correct battery charge. A few minutes later, screen flashed momentarily then battery showed full instead of 80%. Rebooted phone, restarted car (ID4) and battery percentage never updated.

Hello, I'm using an OBDble (veepeak) in my ioniq 5. The app says it's connected, on the screen it says other thing. The SoC is wrong as the actual battery level is 87 so the infos are not updated. (first 2 pictures) and when I'm far from my car, it still says connected and again, infos are not correct cause my car is not in the location written on the app.
I need to unlink then link everytime I want to use ABRP...
Any suggestions on what's going on? Or how to fix it?

Hi, we heard from many users with problems using veepeak dongles. Please understand that we can not support every dongle that is out there. Rather you should use one of the proposed dongles from this list: www.iternio.com/abrp-obd
So if you get it to work it's fine, however we did not test this one so we can't say what's going on with the dongle.
I use the MacLean MCE200 from that list, it's very cheap and stable.
just checked the log and we can not establish a connection to your BLE device. There is a timeout or the dongle blocks the connection. Please check if you have any other app in parallel, that might access the dongle, which would cause ABRP to not being able to establish a connection.
We also had many other users reporting problems with this dongle, so if you can't get it to work again, i would recommend to take one of the devices from our list here, that have been explicitly tested also for long distance trips: www.iternio.com/abrp-obd
In a first step however i would try to unlink (also from android BT) and force close all other apps, that are able to connect to OBD, then start ABRP again and setup the dongle again (unlink it first, your model data will be persisted, even if you unlink and relink).

Mine was working 75 percent of the time but had to restart the dongle often. After the last update Ford Power Up 2.7.3 it stopped completely. Vgate vLinker MC+ Bluetooth OBD2 Car Diagnostic Scan Tool for iPhone, Android, and Windows vLinker MC+BL4.0 . It works with Car Scanner Pro. I have a MME First Edition with 14,500 miles and no other problems.

Please make sure no other app connects to it while ABRP tries to read data. I use a different dongle which has a rock solid connection and we did not get any feedback on shaky connections yet on other dongles, so either your dongle might be defective or another app interferes. Maybe uninstall other apps like torque or OBD readers that could access the dongle. Or check if it is paired in BT Classic mode and unpair it, so the connection can focus on BLE.
Fantastic this feature has been added, esp for iPhone users as EVNotify stopped development for iOS. This is the way to go!

I am not an ABRP expert but I'll try. First of all do not use the iPhone setup/ Bluetooth setup to connect to the BLE dongle. Within ABRP choose your car etc then look for buttons 'live data uitschakelen' and or 'abrp obd connection', they are below 'voertuig' en 'configuratie'. You may also see a header 'live data' swipe till you see the buttons. choose 'abrp obd connection' tap the button 'begrepen' and wait till it finds the veepeak BLE+.

Hi, ik mis op jouw scherm je auto onder "selecteer voertuig" zie eerste screenprint van mij als je dat voor elkaar hebt en je drukt op het tandwieltje er naast dan krijg je mijn tweede screenprint als je die helemaal naar beneden scrolt krijg je de toets "abrp obd connection" te zien. Omdat ik niet in de auto zit vind hij hem nu niet maar anders vind je op je laatste scherm je VeePeak BLE+.

I was able to use Veepeak OBDCheck BLE+ with Android version 4.1.11 yesterday, so maybe this has been fixed?
