I have an OBD11 dongle that is able to send data to my phone using their app , but I am not able to connect to it with the ABRP app. It times out after 10 secs of trying to connect and gives me an error.

Hello, I'm trying connect my OBD11 with ABRP in eGolf 2019. First 2 steps pass but on 3rd step error. Can you please look what is the issue. I checked on forum, that similar issue was already solved in combination with other cars.

Hi, OBD11 is a proprietary dongle an only works with their own app.

I am unable to connect obdeleven in skoda enyaq to ABRP app.Every time I get message-BLE connection established,failed to connect to your car.

obdeleven is a propriatary dongle, which only allows connections to the obdeleven app, so we unfortunately can not support it.

Please check if your Bluetooth permissions are set correctly and the dongle is not paired to your phone via classic Bluetooth already.

Car is cupra born. Phone iphone 14 pro max. All latest updates. Same with abrp app. The dongle can connect to the obdeleven app and to the phone, but not abrp..

If would be beneficial to both ABRP as well as OBDeleven if you could make the latest dongle from OBDeleven compatible with ABRP. The dongle calls for a 6 digit password prior to connection so it would increase the safety. Both company's would benefit from this as well as the customers who already have purchased an OBD dongle with high safety specs.

OBDeleven is a proprietary dongle without a documented API. It's pretty much impossible to use it for anything other than the OBDeleven app.

OBD Eleven is only supported by their native app as far as we understood. So we can't unfortunately support this dongle. If you want to make sure it works you should use one of the recommended dongles from here:

It is not possible to choose to get live data such as SoC via obd dongle (e.g. OBDeleven) on iPhone in version 4.1.11

It is only available for selected cars yet. Also you have to add a vehicle to add telemetry to a car (don't just use one from the quick selection). Which car do you use?
