82 kWh battery capacity, grows
255mi range
4877 pound curb weight
170kW DC charging

Larger battery, longer range, and faster charging than what's currently in the database.

This is not live. There's no 82 kWh battery capacity...

In the "select car model" settings, there's the right battery size models of Pro 77kWh batteries, however the 2023 VW ID4 on the mid-top trims has 170KW charging speeds, but the option only shows 135kW charging, not anything for 170kW charging that they can do for the 2023 model year.

Hi all,

We've added and updated a range of vehicle models in the past few days, including 2022+ models of the Volkswagen ID.4. You can read all the details here: www.iternio.com/post/new-and-updated-vehicle-models-in-a-better-routeplanner-as-of-january-26th

The 2023 ID4 built in Tennessee comes with the new SK On battery. This option is not supported in the app. The problem with this is that the SK On battery supports 175kw charging speeds. I can only select the 135kw charging speed as an option seeing as this is missing, I assume hindering the overall accuracy of the planning. Please update the vehicle list to the 2023 model year and it’s available options for North America as well.

I really would love to see a status update from ABRP on including the 2023 U.S. VW ID. 4 with the 82 kWh battery & 170 kW charging speed. This vehicle is about to be replaced with the 2024 model in a few months, was basically tied for the top-4 selling EV in the US for the first half of 2023, but is not in ABRP's vehicle list. What gives?

ABRP has been a great resource in the past and I honestly can't imagine why this popular vehicle slipped through the cracks.

Hi Sri,

Thank you for the suggestion!

To help us build the model, would you please also provide as much of the following information as you can find online (Ordered from most to least important):

- Usable Battery Capacity
- Range (WLTP is preferred)
- Weight
- Dimensions (Height, Width, Length)
- Coefficient of Drag
- Coefficient of Rolling Resistance

We can build a model based on only a partial set of these, but the more data you can provide the better the model will be. For charging, at least some of the following data is needed:

- Peak Charge Power
- Charge Time (including start/end %)
- Plot of Power vs SoC %

A video of a charging session from low to high SoC would also work quite well.
